Responsibility
- Oversee and execute end-to-end payroll processing in compliance with company timelines and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present detailed payroll reports to stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Ensure payroll SOPs and procedures align with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Accounting teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and improve processes.
- Manage employee data updates, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
- Conduct audits and reconciliations to verify payroll accuracy and data integrity.
- Provide guidance and training to junior payroll staff and HR personnel on payroll best practices.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws, tax codes, and compliance requirements affecting payroll operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations, and social security systems.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local systems) and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Experience working in a multinational or fast-paced corporate environment is a plus.
