Responsibility

  • Oversee and execute the full payroll cycle, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements for all employees.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive payroll reports to management, highlighting key metrics, variances, and trends.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company payroll procedures, SOPs, and Indonesian labor laws, including tax and social security regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to validate employee data, benefits, deductions, and overtime calculations.
  • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, conducting root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date payroll documentation, including SOPs, guidelines, and compliance checklists.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and third-party payroll providers as needed.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline payroll operations and enhance data accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CPP, HRMP) is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor compliance (BPJS, PPh 21, etc.).
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local systems) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Experience working in a multinational or fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
