Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of salaries, bonuses, and allowances.
- Maintain and update confidential timekeeping records, including attendance, leaves, and overtime, in compliance with company policies and local labor laws.
- Monitor and administer employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other statutory contributions, ensuring accurate deductions and reporting.
- Prepare and submit ALPHALIST (Annual Income Tax Return) and other statutory reports to government agencies, ensuring full compliance with tax regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies, address employee inquiries, and implement process improvements.
- Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits of payroll records and reconciling payroll accounts with general ledger entries.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws, tax regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Train and mentor junior payroll staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements (e.g., ALPHALIST, BPJS, PPh 21).
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local systems like Jurnal, Klikpajak) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot payroll issues and implement process improvements.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience working in a hybrid or remote environment is highly desirable.
