Responsibility
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records through diligent bookkeeping practices
- Process payroll for staff and faculty members, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Prepare and submit statutory remittances to government agencies in compliance with Indonesian regulations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash transactions
- Support budget preparation and monitoring processes
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents
- Assist with administrative tasks to support the finance department's operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, or financial administration
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial regulations in Indonesia
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in numerical work
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Good command of English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote/hybrid environment
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax laws and regulations is advantageous
