Responsibility
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage vendor inquiries and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
- Monitor and analyze accounts payable aging reports to optimize cash flow and working capital.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to improve invoice processing efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and automation in AP workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger, or a similar finance role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial controls.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with global teams.
- Experience working in a shared services or multinational environment is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
