We are currently seeking a meticulous and driven Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Bali on a 2-year contract basis. Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for assigned countries within the SEA region, ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor and adhere to strict payroll deadlines to ensure seamless salary disbursement and statutory filings.
- Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements across different SEA jurisdictions.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with third-party payroll vendors to ensure service level agreements are met.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and benefits with a high level of professional service.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll reports, assisting with internal and external audits as required.
- Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity at all times.
- Collaborate with the Finance team for payroll funding and accounting entries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in payroll administration, specifically covering multi-country SEA regions.
- Strong knowledge of statutory requirements for countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, or Vietnam.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent command of written and spoken English to communicate with regional stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Strong analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
