Responsibility
- Process monthly payroll for Thailand employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to validate payroll data, including bonuses, allowances, and deductions.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management review, highlighting discrepancies or anomalies.
- Liaise with external payroll vendors or government agencies to resolve payroll-related inquiries or audits.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, taxes, and social security contributions.
- Support the expansion of payroll services to additional markets as the role evolves.
- Stay updated on changes in local payroll legislation and implement necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multinational company or with international payroll.
- Strong knowledge of Thailand payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Workday, or local systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Thai or Indonesian is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
