Responsibility
- Process monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly payroll for all employees with 100% accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national labor laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
- Calculate and process deductions, bonuses, overtime, and other variable compensation components.
- Generate and distribute pay slips, tax forms (e.g., BIR forms for Philippine-based roles), and other payroll-related documents.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
- Implement and optimize payroll software and systems to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Provide exceptional support to employees regarding payroll inquiries and concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing, preferably in a mid to large-scale organization.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll compliance (advantageous for regional alignment).
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, ADP, QuickBooks, or local payroll systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity.
- Certifications in payroll management (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional) are a plus.
