Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indonesian GAAP and IFRS.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings (VAT, corporate income tax, withholding taxes) and liaise with tax authorities.
- Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and improve efficiency.
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic business decisions and budgeting processes.
- Manage audit processes (internal and external) and coordinate with auditors to resolve findings.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
- Provide tax planning and advisory to minimize liabilities while ensuring legal compliance.
- Mentor and train the accounting team to enhance performance and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Brevet A/B certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting/tax management, preferably in a multinational or large corporation.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (PPh, PPN, etc.) and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
- Experience with audit coordination and working with external auditors.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
