Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations for bank statements, vendor accounts, and intercompany transactions.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Process payroll, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements while ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices for efficiency.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications to auditors.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and recommending cost-saving or revenue-enhancing strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role, preferably in the education or service sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations in Indonesia.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and ethical handling of sensitive financial data.
