Responsibility

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with Indonesian labor regulations and tax requirements.
  • Manage employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation or benefits.
  • Prepare and distribute salary statements, tax forms (e.g., NPWP), and other payroll-related documents.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to handle recruitment tasks, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding materials for new employees.
  • Liaise with external partners (e.g., banks, tax authorities) to resolve payroll discrepancies or inquiries.
  • Maintain confidential payroll records and generate reports for management and audits.
  • Stay updated on changes in local labor laws, tax codes, and HR best practices to ensure organizational compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., HRCI, SHRM) are a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in Indonesia or a similar regulatory environment.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local Indonesian systems) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations, and social security (BPJS).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive employee data with discretion.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
