Responsibility
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with Indonesian labor regulations and tax requirements.
- Manage employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation or benefits.
- Prepare and distribute salary statements, tax forms (e.g., NPWP), and other payroll-related documents.
- Collaborate with the HR team to handle recruitment tasks, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
- Draft and review employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding materials for new employees.
- Liaise with external partners (e.g., banks, tax authorities) to resolve payroll discrepancies or inquiries.
- Maintain confidential payroll records and generate reports for management and audits.
- Stay updated on changes in local labor laws, tax codes, and HR best practices to ensure organizational compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., HRCI, SHRM) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in Indonesia or a similar regulatory environment.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local Indonesian systems) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
- Strong understanding of Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations, and social security (BPJS).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive employee data with discretion.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
