Responsibility
- Process and verify payroll data for accuracy, including salaries, deductions, bonuses, and taxes, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries promptly.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, attendance, and leave balances, using SunFish DataOnâs payroll systems.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and statutory contributions (e.g., BPJS, income tax) in a timely manner.
- Assist in the implementation of payroll system upgrades, process improvements, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive payroll data in accordance with company policies and data protection laws.
- Provide support during audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor queries related to payroll.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor policies in Indonesia to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing, accounting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SunFish, SAP, or similar systems) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Strong understanding of Indonesian payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory contributions (e.g., BPJS, PPh 21).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
