As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations, from data collection to final disbursement, while ensuring adherence to local and international labor laws. Responsibility
- Process and manage multi-country payroll cycles accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with local tax and labor regulations.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data, including hours worked, salaries, bonuses, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of employee data, benefits, and compensation adjustments.
- Generate and distribute payroll reports, statements, and summaries for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation, tax laws, and company policies to ensure full compliance.
- Automate and streamline payroll processes to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance scalability.
- Assist in year-end payroll activities, including W-2/1099 preparations, tax filings, and audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-country or global environment.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
- Strong understanding of tax regulations, labor laws, and compliance requirements in Indonesia and other jurisdictions.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with employees, HR, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid setup is highly advantageous.
