Responsibility
- Process and manage end-to-end payroll for clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local tax laws and labor regulations.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings, for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to verify employee data, such as hours worked, leave balances, and compensation adjustments.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies by conducting thorough audits and investigations.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation, tax codes, and industry best practices to ensure full compliance.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of payroll software and systems to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Provide exceptional client service by addressing payroll-related inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain confidential and secure handling of sensitive payroll and employee information in accordance with data protection policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification (e.g., CPA, CPP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing, accounting, or a similar role, preferably in an outsourced or multi-client environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and labor laws (Philippine and/or international experience is advantageous).
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, HR, and finance teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing requirements.
