Responsibility
- Manage and process all payroll transactions accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Oversee daily cashier operations, including guest check-ins/outs, payments, and refunds, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare reports for management review, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Maintain secure and organized cash handling procedures, including vault management and petty cash disbursements.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure seamless integration of payroll and cashier data into the general ledger.
- Provide exceptional guest service by addressing financial inquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and analyze financial trends to identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
- Train and supervise junior cashiers and payroll staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, cash management, or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proficient in using financial software (e.g., Opera PMS, SAP, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel functions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail in handling sensitive financial information.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational demands.
- Prior experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment is highly desirable.
