Responsibility
- Provide friendly and efficient front-desk support, including greeting patients, answering phones, and directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Manage patient appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations using digital systems (e.g., AWS-based platforms).
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) and administrative documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Process patient registrations, admissions, and discharges while ensuring all required forms and consents are completed.
- Coordinate with medical staff, insurance providers, and external partners to facilitate smooth patient workflows.
- Handle billing inquiries, payment processing, and financial documentation with attention to detail.
- Assist in data entry and reporting using basic software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, healthcare management systems).
- Address patient concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues as needed.
Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in healthcare, customer service, or hospital settings.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and familiarity with AWS or cloud-based systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage high-volume administrative tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes is advantageous.
