Responsibility
- Assist dentists and dental students during procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile clinical environment.
- Provide chairside support, including passing instruments, operating suction devices, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene practices, and preventive dental measures.
- Manage patient records, appointment scheduling, and administrative tasks to support clinic efficiency.
- Monitor and restock dental supplies, ensuring all equipment is functional and ready for use.
- Assist in dental radiography (X-rays) and other diagnostic procedures under supervision.
- Collaborate with the dental team to maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere for patients.
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental clinic or similar healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards.
- Strong communication skills in English (additional Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for patient record management and scheduling.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude with a commitment to high-quality care.
- Willingness to travel between clinic locations in Bali as needed.
