Responsibility
- Assist anaesthesiologists in preparing and administering anaesthesia to patients.
- Monitor and maintain anaesthesia equipment to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
- Ensure the availability and proper functioning of all necessary anaesthesia supplies and medications.
- Provide support during surgical procedures, including patient monitoring and emergency response.
- Maintain accurate records of anaesthesia procedures and patient responses.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to anaesthesia services.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Anaesthesia Technology or a related field.
- Certification as an Anaesthesia Technician is preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of anaesthesia equipment and procedures.
