Responsibility
- Provide compassionate and attentive care to mothers and newborns in a confinement centre setting.
- Assist with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, and monitoring vital signs.
- Support healthcare professionals in delivering medical care and treatments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Document patient progress and report any concerns to the medical team.
- Educate mothers on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare protocols and infection control measures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide holistic care and support.
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Nursing, Healthcare, or a related field.
- Previous experience in patient care, maternity, or pediatric settings is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures and patient safety protocols.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is an advantage.
