Responsibility
- Assist dentists during clinical procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive dental measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and workplace health and safety standards.
- Prepare treatment rooms, including setting up equipment and ensuring a clean, organized environment.
- Manage patient appointments, follow-ups, and administrative tasks to support clinic operations.
- Provide chairside support during examinations, cleanings, fillings, and minor surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Dental Nursing or a related field (e.g., Perawat Gigi qualification recognized in Indonesia).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar clinical support role.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia to interact with diverse patients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
- Familiarity with dental software for patient records and appointment management is a plus.
