Responsibility
- Manage patient billing, invoicing, and financial records with precision and confidentiality.
- Process and verify insurance claims, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
- Provide front-desk support, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, and inquiry resolution.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative teams to streamline accounting and operational processes.
- Reconcile accounts receivable, track payments, and generate financial reports for management review.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense monitoring for healthcare services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient account databases using specialized software.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and address patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or administrative roles, preferably in healthcare.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with healthcare billing systems and insurance claim processing is a plus.
