Responsibility
- Lead and oversee daily bakery production to ensure consistency and quality in all pastry products.
- Develop and implement new recipes and techniques to enhance the café’s pastry menu.
- Train and mentor bakery staff on best practices, hygiene standards, and production techniques.
- Monitor and manage inventory, costs, and waste to optimize profitability and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Collaborate with the café management team to align pastry offerings with customer preferences and seasonal trends.
- Conduct quality control checks on all baked goods before they are served to customers.
- Innovate and experiment with new flavors, presentations, and pastry designs to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Specialist in a high-volume bakery or café setting.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
