Responsibility
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads to meet quality standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development of new pastry and dessert items.
- Ensure kitchen hygiene and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain consistency in food presentation and taste.
- Manage inventory and order supplies to maintain stock levels.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in pastry preparation techniques.
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste while maintaining quality.
- Adapt recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Cook, or similar role in a hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Certification in culinary arts or pastry-making is a plus.
- Familiarity with Indonesian and international pastry trends.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (if applicable).
