Responsibility
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for English, Science (Chemistry/Physics/Biology), or Mathematics tailored to Primary/Secondary students.
- Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and feedback to track progress and adapt teaching methods.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and parents to support student development and address learning challenges.
- Incorporate interactive and innovative teaching techniques (e.g., experiments, group discussions, digital tools) to enhance comprehension.
- Prepare students for examinations and standardized tests (e.g., MOE-aligned assessments).
- Provide one-on-one or small-group tuition/enrichment sessions as needed.
- Stay updated on curriculum changes, pedagogical best practices, and educational technology.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Science, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Teaching certification (e.g., PGDE, MOE recognition, or equivalent) for Primary/Secondary levels.
- Minimum 2+ years of teaching experience in English, Science, or Math (tuition/enrichment experience is a plus).
- Strong subject-matter expertise in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or Mathematics (for Science/Math roles).
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with MOE syllabus and assessment frameworks.
- Passion for student-centered learning and differentiated instruction.
