Responsibility
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and our curriculum goals.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to build a supportive learning community.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including storytelling, songs, games, and hands-on activities to engage young learners.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to organize school events, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain classroom organization, including materials, supplies, and student records, ensuring a clean and orderly space.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- A bachelorās degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (or equivalent teaching certification).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or childcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners and adapting to their individual needs.
- Knowledge of child development theories and the ability to apply them in a practical classroom setting.
- Familiarity with play-based learning and inquiry-based teaching approaches.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (preference given to candidates already in Indonesia or with prior international teaching experience).
