Responsibility
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and preschoolers.
- Monitor and assess each child’s progress, providing personalized support to meet their developmental needs.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress and address any concerns.
- Organize and lead engaging activities, including storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all children.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development to enhance teaching skills.
Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with infants and/or preschoolers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching young learners.
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early education.
- Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic environment and adapt to the needs of the children.
- Familiarity with play-based learning and inquiry-based teaching methods.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) for childcare settings.
