Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and international standards.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Prepare and grade assignments, tests, and exams in a timely and fair manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and enhance the overall learning experience.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student performance.
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends, technologies, and best practices in mathematics instruction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Valid teaching certification or license (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in mathematics, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction and support students with varying levels of ability.
- Familiarity with IB, Cambridge, or other international curricula is highly desirable.
- Passion for continuous professional development and a commitment to lifelong learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and adapt to diverse classroom dynamics.
