Responsibility
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the schoolâs vision, mission, and educational goals in alignment with best practices in early childhood education.
- Curriculum Oversight: Design, review, and enhance age-appropriate learning programs that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of teachers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work culture.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure smooth and efficient centre management.
- Parent & Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, guardians, and the local community to create a supportive and inclusive educational ecosystem.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and regulatory standards, maintaining a secure and hygienic environment for children.
- Program Development: Introduce innovative teaching methods, extracurricular activities, and enrichment programs to enhance the learning experience.
- Performance Monitoring: Assess and evaluate the progress of students and staff, implementing improvements based on feedback and data.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelorâs degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Masterâs degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Certifications: Valid teaching license or certification in early childhood education (e.g., Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or equivalent).
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and drive educational excellence in a pre-school or daycare setting.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
- Passion for Education: A deep commitment to child-centred learning and the ability to inspire both students and staff.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills to address challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Experience working in multicultural environments and the ability to adapt to diverse needs and backgrounds.
