Responsibility
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the childcare centre, ensuring compliance with local and international early childhood education standards.
- Develop and implement a high-quality curriculum that promotes holistic child development, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of teaching staff to maintain a motivated and skilled team.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for children, parents, and staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates on their childās progress.
- Monitor and evaluate the centreās performance, implementing improvements to enhance educational outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the management team to set strategic goals, budgets, and policies for the centreās growth and sustainability.
- Organize and lead parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and community events to engage families and promote the centreās values.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Management, or a related field. Masterās degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a childcare or early education setting, preferably as a Principal, Centre Director, or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development theories, pedagogical approaches, and best practices in childcare management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to inspire and guide staff, parents, and children.
- Proven ability to develop and implement curricula, policies, and operational procedures in alignment with educational standards.
- Familiarity with local regulations and licensing requirements for childcare centres in Indonesia.
- Passion for working with children and a commitment to creating a positive, enriching learning environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
