Responsibility
- Develop and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) for high school students.
- Create interactive learning activities, experiments, and projects to foster critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
- Assess student performance through tests, quizzes, and practical assignments, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and align with educational standards.
- Utilize modern teaching aids and technology (e.g., digital labs, simulations) to improve student engagement.
- Mentor students in science competitions, clubs, or extracurricular activities to nurture their passion for STEM.
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and progress reports for parents and administrators.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events to support a holistic learning environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Teaching certification or license (e.g., PGCE, TESOL, or equivalent) for high school levels.
- Minimum 2+ years of teaching experience in high school Science (international curriculum experience is a plus).
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent English proficiency (written and verbal) for effective communication with students and staff.
- Familiarity with IGCSE, IB, or other international curricula is highly desirable.
- Passion for innovative teaching and willingness to incorporate technology into lessons.
- Legal eligibility to work in Indonesia (or willingness to relocate with visa sponsorship).
