Responsibility
- Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate science curricula aligned with international and local educational standards.
- Conduct hands-on experiments and interactive lessons to enhance student understanding of scientific concepts.
- Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate cross-disciplinary learning (e.g., linking science with math, language, or art).
- Organize and participate in science fairs, field trips, and extracurricular activities to enrich the learning experience.
- Utilize digital tools and resources to enhance teaching effectiveness and student engagement.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Education, Science, or a related field (Masterâs degree is a plus).
- Teaching certification or license (e.g., PGCE, TESOL, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching science at the elementary level.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Indonesian is advantageous.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
- Passion for innovative, student-centered teaching and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., Cambridge, IB) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
