Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and specialty drinks, with precision and consistency.
- Engage with customers warmly, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the team to manage inventory, restock supplies, and monitor equipment performance.
- Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to enhance their appreciation.
- Handle cash transactions and POS operations accurately while providing excellent service.
- Assist in training new staff and sharing best practices for coffee preparation and customer service.
- Stay updated on industry trends and contribute creative ideas to menu development and promotions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role, with a strong passion for coffee and hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment maintenance, and milk steaming/latte art is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills for accurate transactions.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food service.
