Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer and operational demands.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Assist customers with parts inquiries, orders, and returns, providing exceptional service to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill parts requests, track shipments, and resolve any delivery or quality issues.
- Uphold 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, usage trends, and stock movements to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and negotiate favorable terms when necessary.
- Train and support junior staff or team members on inventory management best practices and customer service protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management, parts custodianship, or a related role in retail, automotive, or consumer products.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records and conducting audits.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency in using inventory management software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of 5S principles and experience implementing organizational standards is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in inventory management or logistics are advantageous.
- Physical ability to lift and move parts or supplies as needed.
