Responsibility

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory of parts, ensuring all items are properly logged, stored, and readily accessible.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies, prevent stockouts, and minimize excess inventory.
  • Implement and uphold 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, fulfilling orders, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on inventory performance, including turnover rates, obsolescence, and shrinkage, to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in inventory management, parts custodianship, or a related role in retail, automotive, or consumer products industries.
  • Strong understanding of 5S principles and inventory control best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and customers.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in inventory management or related fields are advantageous.
