Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory of parts, ensuring all items are properly logged, stored, and readily accessible.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies, prevent stockouts, and minimize excess inventory.
- Implement and uphold 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, fulfilling orders, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor and report on inventory performance, including turnover rates, obsolescence, and shrinkage, to support data-driven decision-making.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management, parts custodianship, or a related role in retail, automotive, or consumer products industries.
- Strong understanding of 5S principles and inventory control best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and customers.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in inventory management or related fields are advantageous.
