Responsibility
- Supervise and assist students with homework, assignments, and revision in a structured after-school environment.
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities, including arts, crafts, games, and group projects to enhance learning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages social interaction, teamwork, and emotional well-being.
- Monitor student behavior and implement disciplinary measures in accordance with program guidelines.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Collaborate with school teachers and staff to align after-school activities with academic goals and curriculum standards.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students by adhering to child protection policies and emergency procedures.
- Assist in organizing and supervising field trips, workshops, and special events for students.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in teaching, childcare, or youth development (prior experience in student care or after-school programs is a plus).
- Diploma or degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is an advantage.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children aged 6-12 years.
- Ability to create a structured yet fun learning environment that caters to diverse learning needs.
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in a multicultural setting.
