Responsibility
- Conduct live online Japanese language classes for local and international students.
- Develop and adapt lesson plans based on students' proficiency levels and learning goals.
- Provide personalized feedback and assessments to track student progress.
- Utilize digital teaching tools and platforms effectively to enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and feedback.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to improve teaching methods and materials.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese (N1 or N2 level certification preferred).
- Previous experience teaching Japanese as a second language (online or in-person).
- Strong communication skills in English to interact with international students.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace suitable for online teaching.
- Familiarity with digital teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, or similar).
- Passion for education and a patient, adaptable teaching style.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field is a plus.
