Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate Chinese language lessons to preschool students using interactive and play-based teaching methods.
- Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with international early childhood education standards.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing personalized feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teaching teams to integrate Chinese language learning into broader educational themes.
- Organize and participate in school events, cultural celebrations, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Utilize modern educational technologies and resources to enhance learning outcomes.
- Uphold the values and policies of Dulwich College, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Chinese Language, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with specialization in early childhood education.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese with excellent English communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in preschool or early years settings, preferably in an international school.
- Familiarity with inquiry-based learning and IB or similar curricula is a plus.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills to engage young learners effectively.
- Passion for cultural exchange and the ability to adapt to a diverse, multicultural environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and commit to the role long-term.
