Responsibility
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the cash register, handle transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling.
- Restock shelves and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and unpacking new stock.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and promotions.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies in stock levels or pricing.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the store meets its daily operational goals.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is an advantage.
