Responsibility
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware according to food safety standards.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, ensuring all items are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations, including organizing work areas for efficiency.
- Support service staff by ensuring timely delivery of clean dishes, glassware, and cutlery to dining areas.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in compliance with bakery policies and environmental regulations.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing vegetables or portioning ingredients, as needed.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dishwashing, kitchen support, or hospitality roles is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
