Responsibility
- Clean and sanitize all food preparation areas, cooking equipment, and utensils to maintain hygiene standards.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing and pot-washing machines, ensuring all items are cleaned thoroughly.
- Assist in the proper disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Support the culinary team by restocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and preparing ingredients as needed.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues with kitchen equipment to ensure timely repairs.
- Follow strict health and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during peak service hours.
- Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned, including floors, walls, and storage areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
