Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take and accurately relay customer orders to the kitchen, including special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to Sushi Tei’s presentation and service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after service hours.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Uphold personal grooming standards, including wearing the designated uniform (white polo tee or collared shirt, black pants, black shoes, and tied-up long hair).
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Previous experience in hospitality, F&B, or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in food presentation and service standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
- Neat, professional appearance with adherence to the dress code (white top, black pants, black shoes).
- Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine or willingness to learn is advantageous.
