Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming first impression.
- Take and accurately relay customer orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions, to the kitchen team.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to Sushi Tei’s presentation and service standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with basic food preparation or plating under supervision, as needed.
- Handle cashier duties, including processing payments and providing receipts with accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Follow all hygiene, safety, and uniform policies (e.g., plain white polo tee, long black pants, fully covered black shoes, and tied-up hair).
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Previous experience in hospitality, F&B, or customer service is preferred but not required—training provided!
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays.
- Neat and professional appearance, adhering to the company’s dress code.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a flexible part-time schedule.
