Responsibility
- Assist in setting up and preparing the café for daily service, including arranging tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and processing payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including clearing tables, wiping surfaces, and restocking supplies.
- Operate dishwashing equipment to ensure all dishes, cutlery, and kitchen tools are sanitized and ready for use.
- Support the kitchen team by assisting with basic food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches or plating desserts.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times, including proper handwashing and storage of ingredients.
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally, escalating issues to the manager when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality role is a plus but not required; we provide training.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a bonus.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
- Valid work permit or eligibility to work in Indonesia (for foreign applicants).
