Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality, interactive lessons in English, E & A Maths, and Pure Sciences tailored to secondary school students.
- Develop and adapt customized learning plans to meet individual student needs and academic goals.
- Monitor and track student progress through regular assessments and feedback, ensuring measurable improvement.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to provide updates on academic performance and areas for development.
- Create a supportive and motivating learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance lesson effectiveness and engagement.
- Prepare students for examinations and standardized tests with targeted revision strategies.
- Stay updated on curriculum changes and educational best practices to ensure alignment with global standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelorâs degree in Education, a relevant subject (e.g., English, Mathematics, Sciences), or equivalent qualifications.
- Proven tutoring or teaching experience at the secondary level, particularly in English, Maths, or Sciences.
- Strong subject-matter expertise in at least one of the following: English, Elementary/Additional Mathematics, or Pure Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and build rapport with parents.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Passion for education and student development with a patient and encouraging approach.
- Familiarity with curriculum standards (e.g., Cambridge, IB, or local Indonesian syllabus) is a plus.
- Availability for part-time, flexible hours, including weekends or evenings as required.
