Responsibility
- Design and deliver interactive, age-appropriate lessons in Calistung (Reading, Writing, Counting) tailored to preschoolersâ learning needs.
- Teach basic English language skills through songs, games, and storytelling to enhance vocabulary and communication.
- Lead Tahfidz (Quran memorization) sessions with patience and encouragement, fostering spiritual growth in young learners.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and confidence.
- Assess and track studentsâ progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop engaging educational materials and activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline using positive reinforcement and child-friendly techniques.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events to strengthen community engagement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in early childhood education, teaching, or tutoring (Calistung, English, or Tahfidz preferred).
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (ability to teach in English is a plus).
- Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children (ages 3-6).
- Basic knowledge of Islamic studies (for Tahfidz instruction) or willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexible hours (part-time, weekends, or afternoons as needed).
- Certification in early childhood education, TEFL, or Islamic studies is a strong advantage.
