Responsibility
- Assist in the management and preservation of museum collections, ensuring proper documentation, storage, and conservation.
- Conduct research and develop content for educational programs, exhibitions, and public outreach materials.
- Coordinate inventory audits and cataloging of artifacts, digital assets, and archival materials.
- Support the planning and execution of educational workshops, tours, and events for schools, tourists, and local communities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design interactive learning experiences aligned with museum objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Assist in grant writing and funding proposals to secure resources for educational initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on program participation, visitor engagement, and resource utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Museum Studies, Education, History, Art History, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in museum education, curation, or a similar role within a cultural institution.
- Strong research, writing, and editorial skills with the ability to create engaging educational content.
- Experience in collection management, cataloging, or inventory systems (e.g., database software).
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver public programs for diverse audiences, including children and adults.
- Familiarity with government or institutional policies related to cultural heritage and education.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian or Balinese is advantageous.
