Responsibility
- Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with learning, behavioral, or physical disabilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to monitor and document student progress.
- Support physical therapy sessions by guiding students through exercises and mobility activities.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s abilities.
- Assist in adapting classroom materials and activities to meet diverse learning needs.
- Foster social and communication skills through structured interactions and play-based learning.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development workshops to enhance skills and strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Physical Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
- Prior experience working with children with special needs (autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Strong empathy, patience, and a passion for supporting individuals with diverse abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educators, therapists, and families.
- Knowledge of behavioral intervention techniques, sensory integration, or adaptive physical education is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are beneficial.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Certification in special education, therapy, or first aid/CPR is advantageous.
