Responsibility
- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration.
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.
- Organize and participate in school events, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, progress, and behavior.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, addressing any concerns and providing updates on their child's development.
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and incorporate them into your teaching methods.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive workplace culture.
- Familiarity with local educational standards and regulations is a plus.
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
