Responsibility
- Develop and implement age-appropriate speech and drama curricula aligned with educational standards and student needs.
- Conduct interactive workshops and classes to enhance students’ confidence, communication, and performance skills.
- Teach fundamental acting techniques, including improvisation, voice projection, and character development.
- Organize and direct student performances, recitals, and showcases to highlight their progress.
- Provide individualized feedback to students to support their artistic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to create a holistic learning experience.
- Incorporate multicultural and inclusive themes into lessons to reflect Bali’s diverse community.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Drama, Theatre Arts, Education, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience as a drama teacher, acting coach, or performance instructor, preferably with children or teenagers.
- Strong public speaking, voice modulation, and stage presence skills.
- Passion for child development and the ability to engage students with patience and enthusiasm.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with curriculum design and adaptive teaching methods for diverse learners.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
