Responsibility
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and workshops for MSc in Analytics courses, covering topics such as data mining, predictive modeling, and business analytics.
- Design and update course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, and assessments, to ensure alignment with industry standards and academic rigor.
- Mentor and guide students through research projects, capstone assignments, and practical applications of analytics in real-world scenarios.
- Collaborate with faculty and industry partners to integrate emerging trends and technologies into the curriculum.
- Evaluate student performance through exams, projects, and presentations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and professional growth.
- Participate in academic meetings, workshops, and seminars to contribute to the continuous improvement of the program.
- Leverage digital tools and platforms to facilitate remote teaching, ensuring an interactive and inclusive learning experience.
- Stay abreast of advancements in data science and analytics to maintain the relevance and competitiveness of the curriculum.
Qualifications
- A Master’s or PhD degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience in data analytics, machine learning, or business intelligence, with a strong portfolio of projects or publications.
- Proven teaching or training experience at the university level or in corporate settings, with a passion for knowledge sharing.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and familiarity with tools like TensorFlow, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, with a reliable internet connection and access to necessary technology.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms (e.g., Moodle, Zoom, or Blackboard) is a plus.
